Doctor Edward Sinclair

Doctor Edward Sinclair

Doctor Edward Sinclair became an athlete at an early age, playing football, baseball and track and field from the age of five through his collegiate career. As one might expect, he gained first hand knowledge of sports-related injuries and the impact they have on the athlete as well as the team. His experiences most assuredly factored into his drive and determination to create a practice approach of pre-participation assessment, conditioning, active care, and functional rehabilitation designed to return athletes, of all skill levels, safely back to the game after injury.

Doctor Sinclair received his undergraduate degree from the University of Alabama-Birmingham in 1997 with a B.S. as a Fitness Specialist with a minor in Biology. At UAB, he worked as a grad-assistant with the Strength and Conditioning program, planning and supervising team workouts, as well as assessment and goal setting of the athletes strength and conditioning program. During his studies at UAB, kinesiology, athletic training co-management and pre-participation assessment were strongly emphasized. While Doctor Sinclair had
been exposed to Chiropractic for most of his life, it was during his time, as a starter on the UAB football team, that he learned what impact Chiropractic could make in the treatment of various injuries and peak performance.

It was after a life altering experience with a family member that Dr. Sinclair decided to attend Chiropractic College at Life University in Marietta, Georgia, from 1999-2002. While at Life, he received the Clinical Excellence Award, served as class President, Treasurer of the Senior Honors Program and graduated with honors, Magna Cum Laude. Doctor Sinclair associated in Chiropractic offices in Alabama and Florida and in the Fall of 2003, he opened his own clinic in Birmingham, Alabama where he has an active practice with a strong emphasis on the benefits of pre-hab, functional assessment and rehabilitation under a Chiropractic paradigm. Most recently, Doctor Sinclair has achieved his C.C.E.P. from the Council on Extremity Adjusting in the Fall of 2008.

Because of who he is and his sincere feelings of commitment and compassion for his patients, Doctor Sinclair believes in the importance of Chiropractic in their lives and he pledges his loyalty and devotion to the continued education and treatment of those who depend on him and to those who have not yet learned the many benefits Chiropractic care has to offer.
