Dear CEA Seminar Participants,
Thank you for your interest in the Certified Chiropractic Extremity Practitioner (CCEP) program and for your commitment to advancing your professional education and skills through specialized extremity adjusting training.
For the past 31 years, the CCEP program has served practitioners by providing advanced education and recognition in extremity adjusting techniques. We greatly appreciate the support and participation of the chiropractic community throughout the program's history.
We are writing to inform you that the Council on Extremity Adjustment (CEA) is in the process of winding down its operations. As part of this transition, the CCEP program will continue to be offered through 2027, providing interested doctors with the opportunity to complete the requirements necessary to earn the CCEP designation.
If you are interested in obtaining the CCEP designation, you must complete all seven required seminar courses, pay the final examination sitting fee, and successfully pass the final examination.
The final examination sitting fee is $200 and must be paid at least 30 days prior to the examination date. Candidates who are ready to sit for the examination must schedule their examination and submit payment no later than 30 days before the seminar at which they intend to test. The final examination is administered during scheduled seminar programs.
The CEA will continue offering seminars through 2027, with the final seminar currently scheduled for August 14-15, 2027. Candidates seeking the CCEP designation must complete all seven required seminars, pay the final examination sitting fee, and successfully pass the final examination on or before August 15, 2027.
After August 15, 2027, the CCEP program will conclude, and there will be no further opportunities to complete the requirements or obtain the CCEP designation.
Practitioners who have already earned the CCEP designation will continue to hold that credential, and its status remains unchanged.
We encourage all interested candidates to review the seminar schedule and plan accordingly to ensure sufficient time to complete the required coursework and examination requirements before the program concludes. We strongly encourage candidates not to wait until the final seminar, as examination scheduling and payment must be completed at least 30 days prior to the desired testing date.
