8 LAWS OF HEALING

Course (4 hrs)

Course Objective:  Illustrate, demonstrate, integrate, and learn the concepts of natural healing and identify where we can violate them.

 Statement of purpose: To provide practical management tools and protocols that will benefit both the chiropractor and their patients.

Overview of course: To introduce a paradigm of analysis that evaluates and considers the local and regional affects of extremity tissue dysfunction and the mechanical implications of healing and how we can violate them and correct them. This program will expose the myths and facts of tissue healing.

 Hours:

 8:00 – 9:00  Introduction of The Laws of Healing and why we need to know them.  (Scope of practice, clinical sciences). Identify the pieces of the puzzle that makes up natural healing. How research frequently violates the Laws and therefore justify’ s surgery.

 9:00 – 10:00   The Piezo Electric Effect and Load positions. Foundational for Wolff’s Law and Davis’s Law. (Clinical sciences, examination   procedures / diagnosis).               

10:00 – 11:00  Research Supporting ACL healing and better outcomes. Force and Shock Creation. Shock Absorption. Joint Glide. (clinical sciences)

 11:00 – 12:00   Energy goes where Energy flows. Sherrington’s Law of Reciprocal Inhibition. Overview of how to apply the concepts.
